This handbook provides an overview of complex electronics (programmable and designable complex integrated circuits), and the associated design process and assurance activities. It is primarily intended for quality assurance engineers. The Handbook discusses:
• Various devices and provides examples of their use on NASA projects,
• How electronics engineers design and program the devices,
• What assurance and verification activities can be used for complex electronics, and
• Trends in the design and assurance of complex electronics.
