The purpose of this John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) Standard (SSTD) is to set forth requirements for specified surface preparation and finish painting of fabricated steel structures to control corroding; and to instruct the Facility Operating Services Contractor (FOSC) maintenance painters at SSC in preparing and repainting these structures.
