The purpose of this NASA Technical Standard is to set forth criteria for the design,
analysis, quality assurance, and documentation of wind tunnel model systems to be tested at
various NASA facilities. It is intended to ease the transition of testing of a model system from
one facility to another among the centers. The criteria contained in this standard are intended to prevent model system failure and facility damage.
